Anita Baglaneas, Chef & Owner
Anita is the driving force behind Jules Catering's talented team of dedicated professionals. Over the past 20 years she has grown Jules from a one-person operation to a powerhouse catering company with 60 full-time employees. After owning and operating her own cafe in Boston, Anita 'got serious' and enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu (London). With formal training under her belt she returned to Boston, where she cooked at the St. Cloud restaurant in the South End and then rose through the ranks of Rebecca's Cafe, ultimately serving as Executive Chef for all Rebecca's cafes and restaurants in the 1980s. In 1987, she launched Jules Catering. Anita articulates Jules' mission: "No matter how big we grow, we uphold the same high standards we established in the beginning. We continue to innovate and adapt to change. And because nothing less than perfection satisfies, we always aim to do better."
